Overview
This interior was specifically designed for a refined gentleman's office — a retreat where the gentlemen spend much of their time yet always feel inspired. The aim was to strike a balance between luxurious craftsmanship and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The name 007 is a deliberate nod to the iconic world of James Bond — a symbol of style, elegance and masculine refinement. This motif is reflected subtly through material choice, palette and furnishing: dark woods, metallic accents and considered details echo the classic aesthetic of British gentlemen's clubs with a modern twist. The office itself sits within a characterful 1990s building whose architectural charm and period structure were consciously woven into the design. The result: a space that connects heritage with contemporary spirit — refined, restrained, and with a touch of Bond.
The Brief
Brown tones were deliberately chosen to give the room a powerful yet harmonious presence. The combination of leather and fabric, layered with wood elements and a subtle tile texture in the background, creates a modern and inviting overall picture. The space is deliberately bold without becoming overloaded — contemporary, clear, and built on premium materials that underline quality and style. Furnishing: Luxurious pieces by Walter Knoll. Lighting: Refined designer fixtures by Occhio. Flooring: Premium parquet by Steiner Homedesign. Rugs: Walter Knoll. Bespoke pieces: The café bar, the open shelving wall and the wine rack — which doubles as an elegant room divider — were designed by me specifically for this project and crafted to measure.
